Vellamo waters Super Bowl pre-game event
Finnish mineral water Vellamo is the official water of the star-studded Super Saturday event on the night before the Super Bowl itself kicks-off in Atlanta, US.
Vellamo water will be placed on every VIP table and be widely promoted at the 7 000-square-metre venue erected next to Atlantic Station, where the Foo Fighters and hip-hop duo Run the Jewels will take the stage during the evening.
Vellamo’s inclusion in the event and its unique water source are part of bottler Ice Age Water’s strategy to present the Finnish water as an exclusive design product to international markets.
“We are naturally extremely excited to be invited to such [a] unique event,” said Ice Age Water’s CEO, Petteri Ahonen. “Even though we already have experience from F1 VIP parties, the NFL final’s Super Saturday is our all-time dream event. It’s also great to see that the more important the celebration, the more global attention is placed on the water offered there.”
The Super Bowl is one of the world’s most followed sports events, where this year the New England Patriots will face the Los Angeles Rams at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday, 3 February.
