Finnish franchise FinlandWay International Preschools will bring its Finnish curriculum for early education to Morocco with a local partner.

FinlandWay has signed a memorandum of co-operation with The Benabdallah Private School Group based in Marrakech, Morocco.

The initiative is the first one to bring an authentic Finnish preschool to Morocco and Africa, and will introduce the latest Finnish play-based teaching methods to children aged 12 months to six years in Benabdallah’s early education facilities.

“It’s about bringing new life to our methods to better support younger generations in acquiring knowledge and developing their skills,” said the founder of the private school group, Adnane Benabdallah, according to Morocco World News.

FinlandWay’s co-founding president, Noora Laitio, emphasised that the company’s comprehensive curriculum is designed to lay a solid foundation for lifelong learning with a participative, fun and effective programme.

The offering will also include an e-learning system that allows parents to track their children’s progress, as well as nine months of online courses for educators with teaching methods tailored to the needs of Moroccan children.
