Fourkind and Wolt widen scope internationally
Finnish management consultancy firm Fourkind and food delivery service Wolt have landed in Amsterdam and Tel Aviv, respectively.
Fourkind has established a local company, Fourkind B.V., in the Netherlands’ capital Amsterdam.
The Finnish consultancy firm specialises in artificial intelligence, platform economy, industry 4.0 and overall business transformation. Its three offices are located in Helsinki, Shanghai and Amsterdam.
“We have grown profitably to employ 25 people in Helsinki in less than a year,” says Fourkind B.V’s director Mikko Pajulahti. “Amsterdam is a larger market and a central business hub to Europe so we’re expecting at least a similar trajectory.”
Then on to Finnish food delivery service Wolt, which is expanding to Israel.
The Helsinki-headquartered company has appointed Imri Galai as CEO of its operations in Israel and is also looking for an operations associate and restaurant partnership manager in Tel Aviv.
Wolt collaborates with restaurants and provides home delivery by bike, bicycle or car depending on the city and weather conditions. It currently operates in more than 30 cities in Europe and has raised over 13 million euros to date.
