Aurelia Turbines crosses the pond

Aurelia Turbines’ focus is on commercialising its small gas turbines in the world, with technology developed in Finland. The distributor is a new company, which will be dedicated to the deployment of the technology in both combined heat and power and baseload applications.

Tony Hynes, commercial director of Aurelia Turbines, says the firm is excited about the new channel partner in Mexico.

“We are very proud that they have chosen to promote and utilise our Aurelia Turbines name as it will help globalise our technology,” he notes.

According to the CEO of Aurelia Turbines Mexico, Thomas Newell, there is a lot of potential in the North American market for the high efficiency technology.

Just last month, Aurelia Turbines announced it had signed a marketing co-operation agreement with UK-based Greenray Energy Solutions.
