Econet wins EUR 13 million project in Russia

Finnish water and environmental technology service company Econet Group has been awarded a turnkey contract worth 13 million euros by Russia’s largest pulp and paper company, the Ilim Group. The Finnish company will be responsible for the design, implementation and machinery of the wastewater treatment system at Ilim Group’s new pulp factory in Ust-Ilimsk, Russia. Part of a billion-US dollar investment in Ilim Group’s production capacity, the order is the second largest order received by Econet Group from the Russian paper industry giant this year. Kalmar to supply terminal tractors in Mexico

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, will supply 20 terminal tractors to Mexican ferry operator Baja Ferries for use in roll-on, roll-off (RoRo) port operations. The order was agreed through Kalmar’s Mexican distributor Tracsa/Sitsa and is to be delivered at the beginning of 2020. Image: Kalmar

Kide Science closes second deal in Thailand

Finnish early-childhood education company Kide Science has landed a new collaboration deal with the Edu+Craft learning centre in Bangkok. As of January 2020, Kide Science will help to teach science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to the children with its play-based learning approach, which is rooted in a research-based pedagogical model developed in Finland.
