Finnish ship design and engineering company Foreship will establish a new business entity in the German port city of Hamburg. To be based in the heart of Hamburg’s Hafen City, the business is scheduled for launch on 1 January 2020 with the objective of developing closer ties with German owners, shipyards and marine engineering companies to better find and serve customers in the country.
British low-cost carrier easyJet has opened a new direct flight route from Manchester, the UK, to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. The route will be operated twice a week by easyJet, which also flies directly to Rovaniemi from London. Britons are some of the largest groups of tourists in Finland, especially in Lapland during the winter season.
