DAILY BRIEF: Funds raised, sound in Lisbon, a restaurant grows and a new car showroom
Sushibar+Wine opens Norway's first CO2-neutral sushi restaurant in Oslo today.

Sensible 4 raises coin for its autonomous driving tech, Genelec provides sound for a new trendy restaurant in Lisbon, Sushibar+Wine grows out of Finland, and Kamux opens a new car showroom in Germany.
Finnish autonomous driving technology pioneer Sensible 4 has raised seven million US dollars (approx. 6.3 million euros) in a Series A funding round led by NordicNinja VC. The startup specialises in autonomous driving software that is able to operate in harsh weather conditions, such as snow, fog and heavy rain, and is attracting increasing international interest from major automotive players. In 2019, Sensible 4 and Japanese retail company MUJI brought out the GACHA all-weather autonomous shuttle bus, which went on to win major design awards. The same year, Sensible 4 was also named the best startup at the Dubai World Challenge for Self-Driving Transport, a recognition worth one million euros.
Finnish company Genelec’s state-of-the-art sound system has been installed by Garrett Audiovisuais in JNcQUOI Asia, a new high-fashion gastronomy restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal. The restaurant complex consists of a bar capable of hosting live shows and DJs, the restaurant, a sushi bar, an outside terrace and a garden, all of which have been equipped with Genelec speakers.
Finland’s Sushibar+Wine has expanded to Norway by opening its first restaurant in Oslo on Monday. The restaurant chain has five locations in Helsinki and has now brought to Norway its signature Nordic design and sustainable practices, aiming to become the country’s first climate-neutral sushi restaurant. The second Sushibar+Wine restaurant in the Norwegian capital will open its doors in May.
Finnish used car dealer Kamux will open its eighth German showroom in Lübeck in the summer of 2020. The company is growing rapidly across Finland, Sweden and Germany, where it has a total of 72 car showrooms. Its growth is also being accelerated by a strong digital presence that allows it to offer its complete range of cars to customers in the different locations. It has sold more than 250 000 used cars to date.
