Swedish Vitec picks up Finnish FuturSoft

Finnish software company FuturSoft has been purchased by Swedish Vitec Software Group.

The acquisition brings resources for the long-term development of FuturSoft. According to FuturSoft, there will not be personnel or any other structural changes in the Finnish software company specialising in information technology for the automotive industry.

“[We] believe that the current acquisition gives us even better opportunities to develop our services, eventually benefiting also our clients,” the company says in their press release.

The deal, following a thorough negotiations between the two parties, moves the full capital stock of FuturSoft to Vitec. FuturSoft will be incorporated in the Vitec Auto business segment.
