Wolt, a Finnish mobile application for home-delivered, takeaway or eat in food, is expanding in the Nordics.

Wolt is starting its expansion from the neighbouring capital Stockholm and is currently hiring employees for the new office.

Wolt’s awarded application allows customers to order and pay for their food beforehand to save time from waiting in lines. The customers can choose home-delivery, sit-in or takeaway. Already 300 restaurants in Helsinki have signed up for the service.

The startup was founded less than a year ago and has doubled in size monthly for half a year. The company’s headquarters is located in Helsinki, where Wolt has 60 000 registered users.
