Nokia 3310 is back again
HMD Global has unveiled a new generation of Nokia smartphones at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The portfolio consists of three new smartphones: Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. On top of them, the iconic Nokia 3310 is back in the market, with a new, modern twist in its design – and including the world-renowned game Snake that can be played with friends on Facebook’s Messenger platform.
“Nokia has been one of the most iconic and recognisable phone brands globally for decades, says Arto Nummela, CEO of HMD Global. “In the short time since HMD was launched into the market, the positive reception we’ve had has been overwhelming; it seems everyone shares our excitement for this next chapter.”
According to Juho Sarvikas, chief product officer of HMD Global, Nokia phones “stir real emotions”.
“Our new portfolio combines these classic Nokia hallmarks with a best-in-class Android performance and a new level of craftsmanship,” he notes. “For the Nokia 3310 we just couldn’t resist.”
