High expectations for Lyyti in Paris
Finnish event management company Lyyti has opened an office in the French capital, as the company looks to take on international markets.
Turku-based Lyyti is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year. After spending the best part of the decade establishing itself in the Finnish market, the company now seeks to spread its event management software beyond its motherland.
Currently 10 per cent of Lyyti’s customer base is from outside of Finland, mainly in Sweden and Germany. With the new office in Paris, Lyyti now looks to become a household name in France as well.
“In April we made an agency agreement in France,” says Petri Hollmén, founder and CEO of Lyyti. “Lyyti SAS is its own company in France. It’s a startup founded to sell Lyyti’s services. We’re experiencing with this type of agent model for the first time and expectations are high.”
Lyyti’s French office is managed by Lari Lempinen, who underlines “that a entrepreneurial agent model gives another kind of drive to take on the local market and gets the whole team behind the company’s goals. The competition in France is fierce, but the extent of Lyyti’s services have convinced even here.”
