Finnish consumer brand company Fiskars’ scissors have been selected as the very best classroom-tested products in the United States.

Fiskars has won two of Learning Magazine’s 2017 Teachers’ Choice Awards for the Classroom. The accomplishment marks the 12th year Fiskars has been named an award recipient in one of the most prestigious awards in the global educational market.

Each year, teachers from across the United States judge various classroom products based on quality, instructional value, ease of use and innovation.

“At Fiskars, we design scissors that help kids learn at every stage of life, from preschool to senior year,” says Paul Tonnesen, president at Fiskars Americas. “With our focus on quality, comfort and the designs kids crave, we’re honored to receive another seal of approval from teachers who help our students grow and express their creativity every day.”

The awarded models are MVP Non-stick Pointed-tip Kids Scissors and Sparkle Non-stick Softgrip Student Scissors.
