Vincit and Framery have been named alongside global giants Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Salesforce in Fast Company’s Best Workplace for Innovators 2020 index.

Altogether, Fast Company named 100 businesses in its annual list of companies that “share a commitment to unlocking the potential of creative individuals and diverse teams”.

Software development and design company Vincit was ranked 42nd in recognition of its personnel’s commitment to improving processes, creating new products and inventing new ways of doing business.

“Vincit was founded in 2007 and, from the very beginning, we have aimed to be the best possible employer for top talent,” said founder and CEO Mikko Kuitunen. “Earlier Vincit was awarded the Best Place to Work in Europe [award], and now I couldn’t be more proud of our team for this worldwide recognition.”

The other Finnish company on the list, 46th-placed Framery, also hails from Tampere, Finland’s third largest city. Specialising in the design and production of soundproof pods, phone booths and private spaces, Framery made it to the list after receiving the Green Good Design Award earlier this year for Framery 2Q, a meeting pod made from renewable birch plywood and recycled materials.
