Finland is fit on Fitbit
Global health and fitness wearables company Fitbit has analysed millions of users around the world, and Finland is in the top 10.
Fitbit has 50 million registered device users across 65 countries. For the analysis, Fitbit used aggregated and anonymised data from over 20 million users, examining average daily steps, active minutes, goals met, resting heart rate and duration of sleep.
Finland is listed in eighth position in the overall comparison. In terms of clocking sleep, Finland is placed third, after the UK and the Netherlands.
Finland is also one of the countries that exceed the World Health Organization recommendations for averaging at least 150 minutes of moderate-to-intense aerobic physical activity per week.
The top three countries in the listing are Ireland, the UK and Sweden.
