favouritething about Finland is… clean, fresh air coupled with very safe living and a very good quality of life. Every life is equally valued, and Finland has very good and fair governance – albeit not perfect but better than most countries. Having a modest culture helps to keep greed out.
remember that you are the foreigner and therefore it is your responsibility to learn and understand Finnish culture in order to integrate and be more easily accepted. Do not expect a red carpet.
that employees are respected and trusted. In most developing countries that I have lived in, unfortunately employees do not enjoy the same, as different positions determine your value and status, rather than your acumen, morals and principles.
‘luotettava’ (trustworthy), as I find that the majority of Finns are honest and have great values. This makes them trustworthy.
well, it depends very much on the season. I travel quite a bit so chilling at home spending time with my family is great. I live in the countryside and have cows as neighbours. During summer, a good barbecue and walks in the forest are fantastic for my disposition and stress release.
