Hotelway awarded for hospitality technology
Finnish customer management solutions provider Hotelway has won the hospitality industry’s Entrepreneur20X competition in Mallorca, Spain.
Hotelway came out on top in the competition, earning the Judges’ Choice Award, as well as a cash prize, for its guest communication and mobile room service offering.
The Finnish startup provides hotels with an AI-powered guest chatbot that enhances customer management and frees up hotel personnel for other tasks.
“Hotelway was selected as the winner, because they are genuinely solving a real problem in hotels,” said judge Nick Price, in a release. “In addition, they concentrate on what is the most important in the hospitality They are doing this with a smart technology utilisation, which will help to scale this service to all Europe.”
The Entrepreneur20X competition was organised as part of the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC), which is the largest annual hospitality technology industry event in Europe. A total of eight startups took part and pitched their solution to the judges.
