Finnish crowdfunded editing console provider Loupedeck has signed up for an official partnership with the UK-based product distribution company DigiBox.

DigiBox is one of the biggest distributors for the broadcast, video and pro-AV industries in the UK. Loupedeck and DigiBox will join forces at The Photography Show, which is an event for industry professionals held in Birmingham on 16–19 March 2019.

“Attending The Photography Show and associated Video Show with Loupedeck will give both of us valuable, first-hand knowledge of those markets and help to inform ways to further improve our respective products and services,” commented Phill Lane, sales manager at DigiBox, in a release.

Loupedeck set out in 2016 to develop a custom-made controller for Adobe’s editing products. Founded by Nokia-alumni, the company exceeded its crowdfunding goal by a whopping 488 per cent later that year on Indiegogo. The product has since been developed in close co-operation with the community.

“DigiBox is a highly knowledgeable product distributor for broadcast, video and pro-AV, and I am very pleased that we can share our expertise to the benefit of current and prospective Loupedeck users in the UK and Europe,” said Mikko Kesti, founder and CEO of Loupedeck.

The company recently wrapped up a 1.5 million-euro seed round led by Finnish Business Angels Network.
