Solita expands to Germany

Solita is moving beyond its Nordic core market. Solita

Finnish technology, strategy and design company Solita will continue its international expansion with a new office set to open in Munich later in the autumn.

Solita now aims to build a strong design and data company in Germany. The Finnish company is one of the fastest growing digital transformation companies in the Nordics, with over 700 digital business specialists.

Solita’s international expansion and growth in the Finnish market are accelerated by growth equity fund Apax Digital Fund, which is advised by British private equity firm Apax Partners and which acquired a majority stake in Solita in April 2018.

“Expanding business to German markets is the next step in our internationalisation strategy,” says Jari Niska, CEO of Solita. “While the Nordics remain core, we are excited to be expanding into Germany and see great potential for our services in the country, particularly in the Bavarian region.”

Solita began its internationalisation in 2017, when it opened new offices in Tallinn and Stockholm. It also opened two new Finnish offices in Lahti and Turku this August.

Its customers include Amer Sports, Assa Abloy, Atria, Ensto, Finnair, Fortum and Metso.
