Screenful closes EUR 305K in funding
Finnish software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Screenful has raised 305 000 euros in seed funding from Gorilla Capital and the Arctic15 Funding Program.
Screenfuloffers its customers a visual production analytics add-on to popular team collaboration tools such as GitHub, Trello and Jira. Visual dashboards and automated reports help companies to track project progress and identify bottlenecks using automated data analysis from project tools.
“Most companies still rely on tracking only sales and marketing metrics. The production process is largely a black box,” says CEO Sami Linnanvuo. “The management has no answers to questions like what is the likelihood of a project arriving on time or what are the real causes of delays.”
The benefit of Screenful is in making project delivery more straightforward and predictable, which helps especially with large and complex project workflows.
“We’ve found that over two-thirds of software projects fail because of a lack of transparency and communication,” explains Linnanvuo. “Our aim is to help companies to optimise their most important asset: the value delivery pipeline.”
Screenful received the funding from Gorilla Capital and for coming out on top in the Arctic15 Funding Program, which drew 270 other companies to compete for funding. The programme’s funding track consisted of face-to-face meetings with 14 investors from the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) and Nordic Angel Program.
