QuietOn says goodnight to snoring
Finnish company QuietOn has raised 560 000 US dollars in crowdfunding for its new, upgraded, noise-cancelling earplugs QuietOn Sleep.
After successfully closing its latest crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, QuietOn will move on to the production phase of the QuietOn Sleep earplugs, and expects deliveries to commence in October.
“The campaign was successful indeed,” comments QuietOn sales director Outi Sepänniitty. “Our launch attracted great visibility and we are happy with the results. The campaign showed that there is a need for a snoring-killer device like QuietOn Sleep!”
The Finnish company was founded in 2015 by Nokia audio veterans Janne Kyllönen and Matti Nisula, and in 2016 its first crowdfunding campaign raised 1.3 million US dollars for the production of the first QuietOn earplugs.
The QuietOn Original earplugs have already found their way to customers all over the world, and their popularity among frequent travellers has also piqued the interest of airlines, which have started selling them on flights.
To optimise the new QuietOn Sleep earplugs for sleep on a pillow, QuietOn has reduced their size by 40 per cent and weight by 50 per cent. Their noise cancelling has also been revamped for snoring frequencies and sounds coming through the walls.
