Finland’s Nixu has received a significant order for cybersecurity services from a long-standing customer.

The framework agreement stretches to the end of 2020, after which the customer has the option of a two-year extension valued at approximately nine million euros.

“Nixu’s strategic goal is to act as a comprehensive cybersecurity partner for its customers,” says Nixu’s managing director Petri Kairinen. “The agreement now concluded is a good indication that customers need a cybersecurity specialist, a wide-ranging but technology-neutral partner.”

Founded in 1988, Nixu has since built a significant customer base across three main target segments: corporate IT, digital business and the Industrial Internet. The company has increasingly turned its focus to internationalisation and acquired Swedish computer security consulting company Safeside Solutions in 2017.
