HopLop’s fun exercise adventures leap abroad
Finnish family adventure park chain HopLop is growing rapidly and taking its first strides abroad with a new park opening in Germany.
HopLop will open the new park in Germany in the spring, marking the first step in its internationalisation efforts.
In addition to exports, the company plans to meet its growth target of 25 million euros in turnover this year by refurbishing and opening new parks in Finland and shuffling the company’s management.
“HopLop is a fine example of a Finnish service company with export potential,” says HopLop’s newly appointed CEO Petri Pitkäranta. “We at HopLop have the knowhow to design exercising and inspiring indoor adventure experiences for the whole family. I’m very excited and motivated to manage HopLop and its close to 400 employees.”
HopLop was founded in 2006 by Tomi Pulkki, the new executive vice president, and Joona Hietasola, together with their spouses. Today, HopLop has 21 parks to its name with a new site opening in Seinäjoki on 21 February.
