Finnish International School coming to Taiwan

The bilingual school is set to open its doors in 2020 to both local and expatriate students and will be operated as a Finnish school, although the teaching will be based on both the Finnish and Taiwanese curriculum.

EFC will be closely involved in preparing the school for the launch and serve as its quality management partner once it is operational to ensure first-class education.

“The start of this partnership is a momentous occasion for EduCluster Finland, marking our first venture in Taiwan and our fifth school partnership globally,” said ECF’s CEO Jyrki Saarivaara.

Since its foundation in 2014, ECF has partnered with several education providers around the world and launched Finnish International Schools in countries such as Qatar and the Maldives.

ECF is owned by University of Jyväskylä, JAMK University of Applied Sciences and Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia, which take part in developing its educational solutions.
