Bittium’s medical device granted EU approval

Cardiologists can thus use the Bittium’s software solution for official analysis of Holter-ECG recordings collected with Bittium Faros ECG monitoring devices.

The solution has been designed to optimise efficiency and ease-of-use when analysing multiple days of ECG recordings. It provides information about the electrical cardiac activity of the heart, typical of Holter ECG analysis, and in particular about arrhythmia and other exceptional cardiac events.

The news follows the announcement last month that Bittium Biosignals, a subsidiary of Bittium Corporation, has landed a deal worth up to 17 million euros with a major US remote monitoring provider.
