Kuuhubb gets interior interested with Neybers
Helsinki-based digital company Kuuhubb has signed a term sheet to acquire the interior design game Neybers.
Neybers fits well into Kuuhubb‘s strategy of improving monetisation of promising products and grow its portfolio with female oriented niche lifestyle community and design applications.
After the acquisition is completed, Kuuhubb intends to comprehensively refurbish Neybers by adding new gameplay and social elements to the game and bring in more relevant brands. For this end, Kuuhubb has turned to JoelRoos, founder of OneNordic, who specialises in the digital aspects of interior design.
“Merging my knowhow and background within the interior industry with Kuuhubb’s expertise and network within the gaming industry, will I believe enable us together to develop Neybers into an extraordinary experience for the interior interested,” Roos comments, in a release.
Kuuhubb has also retained mobile app monetisation expert Michail Katkoff as an advisor to the team. Katkoff has previously held key positions in Supercell, Zynga and Rovio.
The company’s portfolio is growing fast and it recently acquired Sumoing, the Finnish company behind the world’s leading colouring app Recolor, with the help of a 20 million US dollar funding boost.
Closing of the Neybers acquisition is expected to take place by the end of the month.
