Kotipizza rises to the Stars

Kotipizza Group comprises three separate companies, which operate restaurant chains Kotipizza and Chalupa and logistics firm Helsinki Foodstock. Kotipizza is the largest pizza restaurant chain in the Nordic countries, boasting 270 restaurants and 260 franchisees.

The European Small and Mid-Cap Awards is a joint initiative by the European Commission, Federation of European Securities Exchanges and EuropeanIssuers. The aim is to promote best practices and acknowledge the continent’s best SMEs that have entered capital markets via initial public offerings (IPOs).

Every year, European SMEs are selected as winners in four categories: International Star, Rising Star, Star of Innovation and Star of 2017.

“SMEs and growth companies play an important role in building European economy, employment and competitiveness,” says CEO Tommi Tervanen. “It’s great that Kotipizza Group can inspire rising stars to lead their operations in a more goal-oriented manner and seek for growth in the capital market.”
