Wirepas closes biggest smart lighting deal

Wirepas will sell its connectivity software Wirepas Mesh, which allows devices to form limitless and reliable IoT networks, for inclusion in 100 000 units of Dutch company Ingy’s lighting control solutions. The solutions both cover simple lighting control and enable the use of lighting as a backbone network for applications such as asset tracking, indoor navigation, occupancy analytics and climate monitoring. Tecnotree awarded USD 11.7 million order

Finnish software provider Tecnotree has won a digital transformation contract worth 11.7 million US dollars (approx. 9.7 million euros) from a large telecom operator in the Middle East. The three-year contract will see Tecnotree deploy its Digital BSS Suite 5 products for the operator’s retail subscribers, as well as provide support and managed services. Image: Pixabay
Adapteo provides workers village for massive tunnel project

Finnish company Adapteo has landed a record order to provide accommodation for workers who will construct the Fehmarn Belt tunnel linking Denmark and Germany. The tunnel will be the world’s longest immersed rail and road tunnel. Adapteo will provide adaptable buildings for accommodation and amenities covering 30 000 square metres and around 1 300 rooms in total. Parmaco joins Partners Group

Swiss private equity firm Partners Group is acquiring Finnish education infrastructure platform Parmaco, also known as the Platform. The Finnish company designs, builds and leases fully assembled and ready-to-use high-quality wooden modular buildings that are used as schools and daycare centres in Finland and Sweden. Partners Group will support the growth of the concept in the Nordics and wants to expand into adjacent market segments, such as elderly care, student housing and ancillary services. Image: Parmaco
