Proptech firm CHAOS raises EUR 1.5 million

Finnish property technology platform CHAOS has raised 1.5 million euros in a round led by sustainability-focused Swedish investment firm Nidoco, with participation from angel investors Kai Keituri, Tapio Heikkilä and Stefan Lindberg. The data-driven platform enables real estate investors to forecast how cities grow and evolve and therefore make the right property acquisitions. Crea Design picks Smidyo as technology partner

Smidyo has been chosen as the main technology partner of Dutch construction company Crea Design. The partnership will focus on Crea Design’s disruptive toilet renovation service, Toilet Direct, to which Smidyo has integrated an interactive mobile-first configurator that allows the customers to specify their wishes, such as style, budget and accessories. In addition, Smidyo has automated the quoting process, freeing up significant time for Crea Design to spend on business development and planning. Taaleri Energia invests in Polish wind farms

The Taaleri SolarWind II fund managed by Helsinki-based Taaleri Energia has invested in two ready-to-build wind farms in Poland. The fund acquired the wind farms together with renewable energy company Masdar in a project financed by a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The wind farms will have a combined capacity of 51.4 megawatts once fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2021. Image: Taaleri Energia

Tarmac acquires Finnish software firm Usetrace

Finnish software automation service Usetrace has been acquired by Tarmac, a global software consultancy. Usetrace has developed an automated testing tool for web applications, allowing browser-based software products to reach market faster. Finland ranks fourth in Gender Diversity Index

Finland has placed fourth in the European Women on Boards’ (EWoB) study on gender-balanced governance in European companies.
