Fellow Finance open for businesses in Czech Republic

Finnish firm Fellow Finance has opened its business finance service for small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. Czech companies are now able to apply for funding for investment and working capital needs from the Fellow Finance crowdfunding platform. In the future, investor clients will have the opportunity to invest in business loans in the Czech Republic, as well as in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland and Sweden. Fellow Finance offers the only crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending service where investors can invest through the same platform both in business and consumer loans in six countries and multiple currencies. Outotec wins order in Democratic Republic of Congo

Finnish company Outotec will deliver copper solvent extraction technology for La Sino-Congolaise Des Mines’s (Sicomines) project near Kolwezi in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Outotec will be responsible for basic engineering, technology and equipment deliveries, and advisory services for mechanical installation, as well as handle the commissioning and startup of the modular VSF X copper solvent extraction plant. Nordic Urban reveals new sea spa in Stockholm

Finnish company Nordic Urban has revealed its plans to build a new harbour bath at Munkbrohamnen in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Consisting of pools, saunas and restaurants, the around 20 million-euro floating sea spa is scheduled for completion in three years. Stockholm’s City Development Board will formally decide on whether to grant a green light to the project on 11 June. Nordic Urban owns the popular Allas Sea Pool in Helsinki’s Market Square and will build at least two new baths in Finnish cities Turku and Oulu.
