Airport College starts online training collaboration

Finnish online training service Airport College International has signed a co-operation agreement with Airport Services Association (ASA), the globally recognised trade association for the independent ground and air cargo handling industry. Airport College will now make online ground handling training courses available to ASA members under special membership terms, while ASA will promote the courses through its membership and communications channels. Paras Biopharma joins alliance for biotechnology firms

Paras Biopharmaceutical Finland has joined the Pivotal Scientific Limited (PSL) Alliance of companies operating in the biotechnology market. The Finnish biopharmaceuticals company looks to promote the worldwide reach of its recombinant bioprocess enzymes through the network. WMFTG expands to Finland

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) has opened new offices in Finland and Norway to strengthen its direct sales and technical support in the Nordic region. The UK-based engineering company is a leading global producer of peristaltic pumps and associated fluid path technologies used extensively in the pharmaceutical industry. Finnish artist wins AD Art Show 2020 in New York

Finnish freelance graphic designer Anton Pitkänen has taken the top honours at the Ad Art Show 2020 and received a special Clio Award for excellence in contemporary art in New York. The competition celebrates creativity and talented artists from advertising “following in the footsteps of famous artists like Andy Warhol, Rene Magritte, Mark Rothko.” Largely made up of textile artworks, Pitkänen’s winning contributions were singled out from the works of 135 artists.
