Comptel bags a big deal for its FWD
Comptel Corporation won a new customer, referred to as “a major prepaid operator in APAC”, for its digital sales channel solution FWD.
Comptel’s first SaaS solution will enable purchasing time-based data packages from the customer. The transaction value of the deal is based on the number of subscribers.
Comptel CEO Juhani Hintikka says that FWD shakes operators’ digital sales and marketing processes.
“This and other recent FWD deals demonstrate that operators see it as a unique opportunity to differentiate in the markets by offering services which fit their customers’ individual needs, thus increasing data revenues, improving customer satisfaction and reducing churn,” he explains. “In short: improving operators profitability.”
Just last week, Finnish telecommunications giant Nokia announced its plans to acquire Comptel.
