Finnish education technology startup Claned has announced it is collaborating with Catholic Schools of Western Australia (CEWA).

The agreement sees Claned’s learning system being introduced to approximately 13 000 teachers and more than 73 000 students at CEWA. This represents one of the largest exports of Finnish education knowhow this year. The news was reported by Finland’s Markkinointi & Mainonta.

Claned’s solution applies in-house developed artificial intelligence and academically validated theories of education psychology, revealing the factors which impact individual learning. This in turn optimises individuals’ study motivation and improves learning results.

CEWA will take Claned’s digital learning platform into use by the end of the year.

The news follows July’s announcement that the Finnish company is providing the United Nations with a digital learning platform and an innovation community.

Claned is currently at the tail end of a crowdfunding campaign on Invesdor.
