Finland-based fintech startup Zervant has been chosen as the most promising fintech startup in the Nordic countries.

Zervant’s mission is to bring easy-to-use e-invoicing available to all 20 million European small businesses. At the moment Zervant provides 100 000 business users with cloud-based invoicing software.

“Managing paper invoices is very expensive and our mission is to help small businesses to switch to e-invoices – which can be made fully automatic,” says Mattias Hansson, Zervant co-founder and CEO.

The first prize was approximately 7 600 euros and an invitation to China to meet with new potential partners and companies to support a possible future launch in China.

The award was given on 22 April at the Disruption Banking Nordics event in Stockholm, organised by venture capital fund True Global Ventures and consultancy Deloitte Digital.

The other growth stage finalists included Norwegian Cloud Insurance, and the Swedish Instantor, Billhop and Lendify.
