ZenRobotics to sort out Chinese construction waste
Finnish ZenRobotics and Chinese Jiangsu LVHE Environmental Technology have signed an exclusive partnership for the distribution of the waste sorting system.
The ZenRobotics product, known as Recycler, is the first commercially available robotic waste sorting system. The companies have agreed on co-operation on the first robotic construction and demolition (C&D) waste recycling facility in China. The first units will be installed in summer 2017.
Jiangsu LVHE Environmental Technology has become the forerunner in C&D waste recycling in China. The company is a state-owned holding enterprise.
ZenRobotics CEO Timo Taalas is excited about the co-operation and the company’s entry to China.
“There are huge opportunities in the Chinese market as the volume of construction waste is mounting up,” he notes.
In 2017, ZenRobotics Recycler is supposed to be conquering more markets, after the company’s new facilities in Australia, US, Sweden and France are running.
The deal adds up to ZenRobotics’ presence in the Asian market; last year, the company sold multiple waste sorting robots to Japan.
