VertaaEnsin.fi looks forward to growth
The 20 million-euro financing round recently closed by VertaaEnsin.fi’s global parent company, CompareEuropeGroup, is set to have a significant effect on the Finnish company.
The forecast for Finnish financial product comparison site VertaaEnsin.fi has improved considerably after its global parent company closed a 20 million-euro funding round.
Investors for the round included the global growth equity fund ACE & Company, Pacific Century Group, Nova Founders Capital and Japanese finance investor SBI Holdings. Mark Pincus, the founder of Zynga, Peter Thiel, the founder of Paypal and Facebook investor, were also on board for the round.
According to managing director Lauri Timgren, “a very significant portion of the funds” will be channeled into VertaaEnsin.fi’s operations.
Part of the capital boost will be used to expand the company’s product offering to include insurance and telco products, as well as build its team.
Article has been updated to correct CompareEuropeGroup as the recipient of the investment.
