TrademarkNow’s trademark management platform has landed three million euros from Karma Ventures, Balderton Capital and Montiko.

The platform created by TrademarkNow, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Helsinki, is used by companies such as law firms and branding agencies for trademark clearance.

The previous investment in 2014 by Balderton Capital enabled the company’s expansion to 37 employees as well as entering the markets in the US, Ireland, the UK and Germany.

“Our clients operate in an increasingly demanding marketplace and our emphasis is strongly on continuing to evolve and improve our products to help them meet those demands even more easily,” says Mikael Kolehmainen, CEO of TrademarkNow. “This investment round gives us the capacity to do that… and so much more.”

TrademarkNow has also relaunched it flagship product NameCheck with a completely redesigned interface.
