Bookit, Strafica and Tuup are used by DemandTrans, a company that’s been chosen to renew the public transportation system in the city of Nashville, US.

Bookit will deliver the technology for automated mobile payments as well as a multi-channel, real-time system for collecting and handling customer feedback. Strafica provides a traffic modelling tool and Tuup joins the gang with its MaaS app. Good News from Finland reported the collaboration between Tuup and DemandTrans in March.

“The public transportation reform in Nashville will be a trendsetter when it comes to the future of public transport and MaaS services,” says Bookit founder Jukka Salonen. “There’s a lot of talk about the flexibility of services and seamless experience, so as a reference, this case will be followed closely.”

The work is set to commence in June.
