Teleste has signed an agreement worth over seven million euros to assist with a planned network upgrade at Danish TV and broadband company Stofa.

The two-year frame agreement is a continuation of previous product-related co-operation between the two companies, and is expected to exceed more than seven million euros in value. It includes Teleste‘s next generation network products and services, such as intelligent amplifiers, RF passives and detailed planning services.

The cable network upgrade to the new DOCSIS 3.1 technology will present Stofa’s customers with 1GBit/s speeds and allows for all Internet-based video and TV content to run smoothly over the network.

“Working with Teleste, we have been able to improve the reliability of our network during the past years; and now, we are pleased to continue our previous co-operation in upgrading our network to meet the growing capacity requirements for years to come,” says Ole Fruekilde, CEO of Stofa.
