Finnish Suppilog has signed an extensive partnership agreement with Xi’an International Inland Port Investment and Development Group Co (ITL) to ease the way into the Chinese wholesale market.

The agreement covers the implementation of Suppilog and its subsidiary Suppilog China’s trading platforms to the Chinese market with the help of ITL.

The two partners will develop sales and buyers channels for Nordic businesses and Chinese retailers respectively. This includes a wide array of components such as sales operations, monetary transactions, customer acquisitions, e-commerce management, customs, marketing and trading licences, as well as logistics.

The logistics operation will centre around China’s modern Silk Road concept (One Belt One Road), part of which is the fast rail link between the Finnish city of Kouvola and Xi’an in China.

Suppilog’s trading platform is currently being used by more than 2 000 Finnish companies, and further expansion in Europa and Asia is on the cards in the near future.
