Supermetrics boosts its market analytics solution

Finnish Supermetrics has closed a 3.5 million-euro Series A funding round, as the company aims to further solidify its position as a leading marketing analytics solution.

The funding round was led by Finland-based venture capital fund OpenOcean, and Supermetrics looks to use the capital towards expansion and product development.

“This new funding gives us additional resources to accelerate technology and product innovation, and to expand quickly and strategically into new markets,” comments Mikael Thuneberg, CEO of Supermetrics.

Supermetrics’s product provides marketers with a tool to collect and transfer all its online marketing data to a platform of their choice, such as Google Sheets, Google Data or Excel.

Finnish business daily Kauppalehti selected Supermetrics as the most financially successful company in the country in 2016. The same year, Supermetrics reported a 151 per cent year-on-year increase in annual revenues amounting to 1.6 million euros, with a 63 per cent net profit margin.

The Finnish marketing analytics company has to date 150 000 users in over 110 countries, and some of its biggest clients include Warner Brothers, BBC, PBS, Dyson, Rovio, Unibet, Red Cross and Unicef.
