App Annie has published a list of world’s biggest game companies who made the most turnover in 2014 in Apple’s iOS and Google Play, with Finnish-based Supercell leading the pack.

It has been a time of measured growth for Supercell who finished 7th in 2012 and 2nd in 2013 on the same list.

Founded in 2010, Supercell’s first office was in Espoo, Finland. The company believed that smaller teams of people produce the best work. The result has been an organisational model made up of very small teams, or “cells” as they call them. Since its founding, Supercell has released three games: Clash of Clans, Hay Day and Boom Beach.

According to their website they have 150 employees working in offices in Helsinki, San Francisco, Tokyo and Seoul.
