Heeros, a Finnish provider of software services, will be launching its business in Sweden and expanding its existing services in Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Heeros specialises in electronic financial administration solutions. The company’s software can be used on various devices ranging from desktop computers to cell phones. Heeros’ software enables the transfer of financial administration functions into electronic format, including invoice approval, accounting, payroll and collection.

In addition to Finland, the Netherlands and Sweden, the company has already gained a foothold and found buyers and users in Norway, Estonia, Russia and Poland.

According to Heeros, only a fraction of financial administration has been equipped with e-solutions and the degree to which this has been implemented varies greatly. Finland is further along in the electronification of financial administration than other countries.

“We believe that the global markets are ready for a revolution in electronic financial administration,” says the company’s managing director and CEO Matti Lattu. “We offer cloud-based total solutions that our Finnish customers have been closely involved in developing with us.”

The company received funding from the LetsGrow programme, the joint funding programme of Finnvera, Tekes and Finpro, which supports promising growth companies heading abroad.
