Finnish beauty-tech company Revieve has partnered with Samsung to bring personalised skincare advice to Samsung mobile device users.

The two companies will start off by bringing selfie-based skin analysis to Samsung’s flagship device, Galaxy S10, in the US and South Korea.

The individualised skin-analysis solution is powered by Revieve’s technology and works by taking a selfie with Samsung’s Bixby Vision software built into the camera. The duo will also add personalised product recommendations from selected retailers to the solution in the coming months.

“We’re extremely excited to be partnering with Samsung in bringing a market-leading selfie skin-analysis and personalised recommendations to Samsung customers,” said Revieve CEO Sampo Parkkinen. “Samsung has clearly positioned itself as a front-runner in offering consumers […] exciting, personalised services directly on the mobile phone.”

The Finnish company has recently also formed partnerships in the UK to introduce a novel in-store beauty experience.
