The new fantasy novel Sisterland by successful Finnish author Salla Simukka will be published in English next autumn.

Sisterland is magical writing at its best,” describes Phoebe Yeh, VP publisher from Crown Books for Young Readers, which is an imprint of Random House Children’s Books. “When readers enter into the Garden of Secrets, they will be treated to a mysterious fantasy world full of whimsy and wonder.”

“Just as she has shown in her As Red As Blood teen series, Simukka continues to prove that she is one of today’s most talented children’s writers,” Yeh continues.

Simukka is the author of the international success story, The Snow White trilogy, to which Random House Children’s Books has previously bought the rights. The trilogy is currently sold in 52 countries and is also set for film treatment in Hollywood.
