Finnish company Pöyry has been awarded significant owner’s engineer services assignments from B.Grimm Power Limited in Thailand.

The deals relate to Amata B.Grimm Power (Rayong)’s gas-fired combined cycle power plant projects, which are located inside the Amata City Industrial Estate, Rayong Province.

The work includes project management, engineering review, Quality Assurance and Control surveillance and site supervision services.

Altogether, the projects consist of three blocks containing 120 MW combined cycle / cogeneration power plants that are embedded within the industrial estate private power network. These provide electricity and steam to industrial consumers, as well as electricity to the national grid.

The projects form part of B. Grimm Power Limited’s strategy to construct 16 power plants by 2019 with a combined capacity of 2 GW.
