Finnish Playmore Games has closed a very successful funding round for its Dized mobile app that makes board gaming easier with handy tutorials.

Playmore Games closed the funding round on Indiegogo having raised three times their initial target and landing in excess of 150 000 US dollars, from more than 4 500 backers.

The Dized interactive mobile app makes board gaming easier with smart tutorials that provide players with the necessary information to start playing right away and fills the gaps as the game goes along.

“Dized will solve a big problem in the board game industry!” Chad Krizan at BoardGameGeek.com envisions.

The app also has a feature that helps with hosting game nights and allows users to connect with other board gamers around the world. It uses a credit system that opens up the content to its users.

The Helsinki-based company wants to use the funding generated from the crowdfunding campaign to hire professionals to create tutorials and help develop the Dized platform.

Playmore Games also plans to eventually streamline content creation to third parties in order to reach its laborious goal of adding hundreds of new board game titles to the Dized library every year.

Early access to the app is scheduled for December 2017, while the full release of Dized is slated for August 2018.
