Finnish Outotec lands order from Turkey
Finnish Outotec will deliver process equipment for Acacia Maden’s copper project in Turkey.
Finland-based mineral processing technology company Outotec has been awarded a contract by Turkish Acacia Maden Isletmeleri for the delivery of process equipment to the greenfield Gökirmak copper project in Turkey.
The contract value is approximately 14 million euros. Once operational the new plant will process two million tonnes of ore annually.
The equipment will be delivered during 2017.
“We have a portfolio of technologies for treating various copper ores,” says Kalle Härkki, head of Outotec’s Minerals Processing Business Unit. “We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to deliver our mineral processing technologies to Acacia Maden Gökirmak copper project.”
Acacia Maden Isletmeleri is a subsidiary of Turkish Ilbak Holding.
