Outotec delivers iron ore beneficiation plant to Iran

Outotec has been awarded a contract by Iran International Engineering Company (IRITEC) for the delivery of process technology to a new iron ore beneficiation plant in Iran.

The value of the contract is 45 million euros.

The delivery includes a complete beneficiation plant and an entire value chain from raw material testing, process development to concentration and dewatering.  In addition, Outotec will also be responsible for basic engineering, and supply of key process equipment, as well as advisory services for detail engineering, construction and commissioning.

The annual capacity of the beneficiation plant will be 2.5 million tonnes of pellet feed grade iron ore concentrate. The plant is expected to be commissioned in 2017.
