Finnish company Oura Health, which is developing the world’s first wellness ring, has closed a Series A funding round. Over three quarters of the money came from US investors.

Ouraring currently has users located in dozens of countries, approximately two thirds of whom are in the US. On top of this, several top universities, research organisations, sleep clinics and companies utilise the data the ring known as ŌURA and its corresponding app can provide.

“We are passionate about helping ŌURA users learn how their body responds to their lifestyle and what they can do to improve their sleep, health and performance,” says Petteri Lahtela, CEO and co-founder of Oura Health. “We live in a world where we’re constantly asked to push harder and stretch our boundaries. ŌURA wants to change that.”
