Finnish supplier for the smart device testing industry OptoFidelity has been purchased in full by Chinese high-tech enterprise Changyuan Group (CYG). Operations are set to continue as usual for the Finnish company.
The acquisition of OptoFidelity by Chinese Changyuan Group will offer significant growth opportunities for the company in the Asian market and beyond.
Operations will continue as before however, with OptoFidelity’s leadership remaining in place, so too the company’s headquarters in Tampere, Finland and its US subsidiaries in the Silicon Valley and Redmond and Chinese subsidiary in Shenzhen, which were opened after the company secured significant funding last year.
“This partnership will give us more resources and capacity to deliver our test technology to our global customers worldwide,” says Pertti Aimonen, CEO at OptoFidelity. “Becoming part of the Changyuan Group allows us to serve the smart device industry in larger scale than we have ever done before.”
